Klang is known for its bak kut teh, but I’ll bet you didn’t know that Klang’s also famous apple strudel!
Fruity Bakery & Cafe is a hidden gem in Klang and has been around for over 30 years. A quick hop on their website will show that they sells all sorts of pastries including blueberry cheese tart, chocolate eclair, cream horn, honey mixed nuts tart, lemon curd slice, vanilla slice, cream puff and of course, apple strudel.

Visiting Fruity Bakery & Cafe
Fruity Bakery & Cafe is located at the corner of a shop lot, with a Perodua showroom on the right. There are plenty of parking spots around.
Upon arrival at the bakery, there are 2 queues in front of the queue: one queue for those who have pre-ordered (you can do so via their website) & another for walk-ins.

They currently only allow 6 patrons each time due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
By the time we went to the bakery at noon, most items were gone.

Highlight: Apple Strudel
Each apple strudel comes in one box. RM 30.32 per 12 inch loaf.
The apple strudel is made from an original recipe from Perth, Australia, which is home to the Corica Pastries apple strudel. The pastry is sugar glazed, light and flaky with a generous amount of apple filing.
It’s recommended that you complete the apple strudels within 3 days from date of purchase (or within 2 hours if it’s not placed in a fridge).
Hot Tip
If you know what you want, head to the website and pre-order what you want. When we want at noon, everything was sold out apart from the apple strudel, cream puff and cream horn.
Most people buy around 2-3 loafs per person.
